Q: When do I have to give my donation in order to qualify for the match?

A: Online donations must be given on #GivingTuesday, November 29. If you wish to send a check, simply email jessica@eaglecc.org on November 29 to make a pledge, and mail your check within a couple days.

Q: What if the entire $15,000 isn’t donated?

A: Only dollars given will be matched. For example, if $8,000 is given on #GivingTuesday, then the matching investor will give $8,000, making the total $16,000. If $15,000 or more is given on GivingTuesday, the matching investor will give the full $15,000 match, totaling $30,000 to impact the lives of Detroit kids!

 

Q: Do I need to specify that my donation is for #GivingTuesday in order to qualify for the match?

A: No, all donations given on November 29 will be matched.

 

Q: How will money given on #GivingTuesday be used?

A: You can feel free to specify that your donation go towards sports programs (even including a specific sport), current Soar Tutoring programs, or next year’s initiative to scale Soar Tutoring across Detroit. Unsure? If you don’t make a specific designation, we’ll use the money where it will have the greatest impact! Want to get even more specific?
